A New School in Zambia, Africa - June 2010
Enjoy the slide show photos taken during our trip to Zambia in June 2010.  The building now has a roof and is plastered inside.  Outside plaster and painting will be completed in the next few weeks.  We will be ready to open officially in September 2010 and look forward to changing lives in Zambia.

In a world full of pain, uncertainty, and suffering, there are children who would like to make a difference in the lives of needy kids around the world. There are also the children that we, as parents, need to nudge into thinking beyond themselves.  A Touch of Hope's mission is to promote and practice God's principles of giving by creating an avenue for kids helping kids by funding and delivering basic necessities to needy kids around the world.

A Touch of Hope...Changing Lives
A Touch of Hope gives children the opportunity to change lives, those of the needy as well their own.  We believe they can learn to do something worthwhile and meaningful no matter how young they may be.

Testimonial

"My favorite part was spending the night at the orphanages and getting to know the kids, but it was hard because we didn't speak the same language. At one orphanage we spent two nights and slept in the same rooms as the orphanage kids but their beds were very hard. We ate all our meals with them. They ate green vegetables and rice for every meal except once they had noodles instead of rice.  It was interesting to see what their life was like. Thailand is a pretty country and the people are very friendly. I liked our fun days at the end of the trip when we stayed at the beach and went snorkeling and saw lots of interesting sea creatures. And I liked watching the elephants at the elephant park play soccer, especially when one made a goal."  Sara A., Longview, WA
